Founder and Director
Master in business administration

Jure Tomc is the Founder and Director of JT Business Development, with more than 20 years of experience in business management, international trade and market development. His background includes leading retail and distribution businesses, negotiating with international suppliers, developing products with Asian partners and expanding businesses into new markets.

He works with companies, research institutions, intergovernmental organisations and government institutions in the countries where JTBD operates. Across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas, he connects commercial objectives with local priorities, builds partnerships and develops international technology and development projects. His work covers market entry, technology commercialisation, intellectual property strategies, funding preparation and implementation coordination, supported by local partners and specialist advisers.

Jure also mentors entrepreneurs and management teams on business models, investment readiness and international growth, and organises business missions, technology conferences and workshops. He holds an MBA from IEDC–Bled School of Management and has completed further training in negotiation at LSE, venture finance at Oxford Saïd Business School, technology transfer at Georgia Tech and research commercialisation through HarvardX.

Gerald F. ALSERDA

Director

Gerald brings strategic and operational business experience in Hong Kong, China and Europe. His background includes technology businesses, entrepreneurship, consumer product distribution, brand licensing and retail market development.

He supports companies with market entry, distribution partnerships and local operating arrangements, combining commercial planning with experience in building and managing businesses in Asia.

Farrukh EHSAN

Farrukh is an agricultural engineer and project manager with experience in research, teaching and international cooperation in agriculture, renewable energy and sustainability. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agricultural Engineering and has worked in university teaching and agricultural research.

At JT Business Development, he supports project planning, partner coordination, documentation and progress follow-up, helping international teams organise their work and prepare practical technology projects.
